| • | FASTER PROCESSING - AutoMail® 8 processing (address standardization, presorting, etc.) is faster than prior versions. |
| • | FASTER INTERFACE – The interface, itself, refreshes faster. This is most notable with users who have an extensive number of Profiles in the opening screen when launching AutoMail®, but all of the interface options open more efficiently. |
| • | SAME INTERFACE – No training required. The interface, itself, is the same as AutoMail® 7. All operations and functions are the same. An exception, but an improvement, to this would be that we have "removed" the 'Run Batch' button from the Batch Summary screen. This was causing confusion and users were clicking, accidentally, intending to hit the Print Reports button, which is on a different screen. The 'Run Batch' button is now in the top button-bar. |
| • | "PARTIAL MAILING" ENHANCED – AutoMail 8 employs a visual “graph” which can be “dragged” with the mouse so as to simplify determining trays which would or would not be applicable to partial mailing, if so needed. This makes performing partial-mailings much simpler. “Full Service” partial mailing (as opposed to IMb Basic Service) is ONLY available in version 8. |
| • | .NET Framework 4.0 - AutoMail® 8 runs on .Net 4.0 (vs. 2.0 in AutoMail® 7). |
| • | IMPROVED REPORT LAYOUT - Replaced Visual Basic 6 coded reports. |
