There’s a new feature in printstream that allows you to embed custom text in a barcode (2d or 3 of 9).

 

 

This is setup like other custom user text, with the difference being the output goes to User String 2 in the barcode instead of printed on the page. You can use any combination of dynamic and static text. A common use for this would be to include the account # and amount due on a remittance stub data matrix barcode.

 

This is in build 8.2.13046 and higher.

8.2.13115 will have the option for setting the rendering method for 3 of 9 and 2d bardcodes.

 

 

 

DMS’ custom build is always rendering as solid rectangles. When a customer gets this update, this option in AMTools will need to be set to Solid Rectangles or they will revert to the previous behavior.
