Sequence Number Removal

Intended to be used with great caution, the Sequence Number Removal utility allows the strategic removal of mailpieces (via the mailpice sequence number) from a mailing. Over-use of this utility could potentially invalidate a mailing. If there is need to remove multiple sequence numbers / mailpieces from the Batch Manifest, please contact AutoMail Technical Services & Support to discuss.
Three optional methods can be utilized to accomplish sequence number / mailpiece removal.
| • | By Range allows one to enter a sequential range of sequence numbers, and remove these from the mailing. |
| • | By Seq No allows for explicit sequence number removal. |
| • | By List allows selective identification of sequence numbers to be removed from the manifest. |
Whichever method is utilized, once the sequence number(s) is added (
) all standard reports must be regenerated.
